About Faith Baptist Church

Our Vision

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: and how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,

Acts 20: 18-20

Who We Are

Baptists value religious freedom and believe no government or religious group should force a specific set of beliefs on a church. We believe each person can connect with God directly and that all believers share this responsibility. We are free in Christ but also responsible to one another, guided by the Bible.

Our Beliefs

There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. It is completely trustworthy and serves as the foundation for our faith and practice. Through Scripture, we come to know God, discover His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ, and find guidance for everyday life. Everything we do—our worship, teaching, and ministry—is rooted in God’s Word

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
