Pastor Rick has been faithfully serving our church since March 2022. With a heart for God and people, he is dedicated to preaching the truth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and helping others grow in their faith.
He came to us in a time of great need and has worked diligently to strengthen our church family while reaching out to the community with the love of Jesus. Whether from the pulpit, in fellowship, or through outreach, Pastor Rick's passion is to see lives transformed by the Gospel.
Rick's ministry journey began at Liberty Missionary where he grew up as a child. There he served as a Youth Pastor for 3 years, pouring into the next generation. God then led him to serve 12 years at Groesbeck Baptist as Pastor/Associate Pastor, and later 7 years as Assistant Pastor at McKelvey Baptist, where he continued to faithfully shepherd and serve.
Pastor Rick also attended the University of Cincinnati, where from 1995-2001 he was an active part of the Baptist Student Union ministries - a time that shaped and strengthened his calling to ministry.
Beyond his ministry, Pastor Rick is a proud "girl dad" of three and a loving husband to our First Lady, Sarah. Together, they serve as a team - leading with humility, compassion, and a deep commitment to God's Kingdom.
